Blue Crystals and all their glory

While blue crystals are not usually my go-to crystals in my collection ( in fact I have maybe 10), I can appreciate the qualities they possess. As someone whose throat chakra is blocked more times than not, I vow to add more blue crystals to my collection. Meditating with them, will certainly help balance it. While researching this week I found some common traits among most of these beautiful stones:
  • Calming
  • Clearing the mind
  • Releases stress
  • Mostly helps the throat chakra, but can also help with the third eye chakra
  • Helps with communication
Check out some of these crystals to try out the next time you want to work with the colour blue!

Blue Lace Agate, a crystal often used for activating and healing the throat chakra, is a beautiful healing stone. It focuses on relieving anger, infection, inflammation and fever. It is also great to help with thoughts, feelings and expression.

Aquamarine is a stone of courage. It calms, reduces stress and quiets the mind. It is a great stone for sensitive people. It works over time for people who are overwhelmed with responsibility., by calming the mind  and helping one to express themselves. It is also a great stone for meditation.

Blue Calcite works well with the throat chakra as it helps with communication. All calcites can cleanse the negative energy in a room, but blue calcite can absorb that energy, cleanse it and then return it back to the sender.

Chryscolla is a truly special stone. It doesn't work with just one chakra. It re-energizes all of them! How cool is that? It is a great stone to help when you need to focus on your inner strength, confidence and self awareness.

Lapis Lazuli is another fabulous stone that works well with the throat chakra. It is also a stone that is great to use when sleeping as it helps to enhance dreams. Lapis Lazuli works well with people who want to take charge of their life. It promotes self awareness and self expression.
* After researching Lapis Lazuli I actually went out to buy a stone. I am actually quite intrigued by this one.

Researching blue crystals was actually a lot of fun. It made me realize there are so many stones that I am missing out on. What are some of your favourites?
